We understand that this watch took over six years to design and develop, and there were many teething problems getting the various components to function together. This is a true piece of art that exists for the sake of art, and you can see why so much blood, sweat and tears were spilled in the making of the Blancpain 1735.
The Blancpain 1735 stands up and laughs in the face of impossibility. With each timepiece taking a year to craft by one horologist it is easy to understand why the price is set so high. With 740 individual hand finished components it is a true labour of love, and it is the world's most complicated automatic winding wristwatch.
