Omega was founded at La Chaus-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by Louis Brandt, and was continued by his children until the union of Omega and Tissot in 1930. The company has contiued to grow and manufacture prestige Swiss watches year after year. Omega has been the official timekeeper for 22 Olympic Games.
