Frédérique
Constant create all of their wrist watches in Plan-les-Ouates in Geneva. The company (as it exists today) was founded in 1988 by Aletta Bax and Peter Stas and is one of the few horologists and watchmakers that are involved in all stages of their watches creation from production, design and creation to final assembly. In 2006 Frédérique
Constant produced over 55,000 watches, a staggering amount. Frédérique
Constant operates a unique manufacturing facility in Plan-les-Ouates that measures a massive 3200 square meters and is split up over four flours. One floor is in charge of movement component production, the next floor is in charge of calibre assembly, the third floor takes charge of watch assembly and the final floor is given over to an extensive quality control department. The basement is given over to a trendous amount of state of the art equipment and machines that take charge of individual component manufacturing. The Frédérique
Constant Heart beat Manufacture won the "Watch Of The Year" Award from Hrologes Magazine in 2005. Frédérique
Constant also participated in the Only Watch activity that funded critical medical research helping children with Muscular Dystrophy.
