GMT-Master II

Created in 1955 to meet the demands of professional pilots, the GMT-Master was the first watch to keep time in two zones. The Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master has a 24-hours rotatable bezel, a 24-hour hand, as well as an hour hand which can be adjusted independently. The GMT-Master bezel is craeted from an extremely hard and exceptionally beautiful ceramic material with excellent corrosion-resistant properties. Its colour is not affected by ultraviolet rays and it is virtuall scratchproof. Using innovative processes, the numerals on the Rolex GMT-Master are engraved and filled with gold to enhance their legibility. The Triplock winding crown on the Rolex GMT-Master is designed to function at depths freater than most submarines. It screws down like a nauical hatch and incorporates three seperate gaskets to seal out water and foreign matter, protecting your Rolex GMT-Master.
