Grand Complications Watches

Arnold & Sons trace their lineage back to 1764 when John Arnold set up his first workshop in the Strand in London. After giving King George III the gift of a minute repeater-ring John Arnold gained access to circles of wealthy people. Arnold joined the longitude act competition which was set up in an effort to find a reliable method for calculating the longitude at sea during the expansion of the British Empire. To this end Arnold used to specialise in marine chronometers throughout the 1770's before making the move to developing timepieces in more modern times. Arnold & Sons are very aware of their nautical heritage and aim to incorporate as much of their past engineering prowess in their timepieces as possible.

Grand Complications Watches

The Arnold & Sons Grand Complications are strictly limited edition timepieces only; this ensures the absolute exclusivity of the brand. In fact it confirms that the Grand Complications collection are not simply timepieces, but also works of fine art. Some of the finest mechanical movement lurks underneath the large, elegant dial of the Grand Complications with luxury tourbillon movement. The delicate fascia of the Grand Complications comes with two 24 hour sub-dials and a solar compass function, along with a unique "mystery winding mechanism". The limited edition Grand Complication pieces are available in gold and platinum.
