Model 33 Watches
Paul Gerber was born in Bern, Switzerland in 1950. Paul's father was a watchmaker and he took it upon himself to train Paul in the art of horology. Paul Gerber now resides in Zurich and has established his own watch construction company. Gerber specialises in new developments and miniaturisation, in fact he is noted in the Guiness Book of Records for producing the most complicated wristwatch in the world. Paul Gerber’s exceptional watchmaking art requires an excellent technical know-how as well as creativity and specific artisanal skills. Products of this class are a synthesis of traditional handicraft and modern techniques. It is therefore Paul Gerber’s desire and wish not only to create the designs on the computer, but also to work at the lathe by himself.

Model 33 WatchesThe Model 33 watch has umpteen hours of design, research and engineering in the finished product. With the Model 33 Paul Gerber has incorporated a 6mm spherical moon in his new calibre 33 movement, a unique feature in modern watches. Incredibly once the moon phase has been set on the Model 33 it wil remain accurate for 128 years without fault. The detail on the moon phase display is stunning; half of the moon is made of Lapis to represent the dark side of the moon whilst the other half is studded with 54 of the finest cut diamonds to represent a full moon. The Model 33 features Paul Gerber designed Calibre 33 shaped hand wind movement that is captured in a Platinum, White or Rose 18ct Gold tonneau shaped case. | ![]()
